Be the firm AI names for the cases you want.
KailxLabs gets law firms named when people ask ChatGPT, Google AI Mode, Gemini and Perplexity for a lawyer in a secondary practice area, such as estate planning or workers comp. We put the practice area where AI can see it, fix your profiles for each engine and earn places on the city lists AI cites. Most firms need the answer ready build at $4,995 one time, refunded if you are not named on the agreed question within 45 days.
What clients ask AI.
Examples of the questions we measure for a firm. Yours come from your intake calls and the case types you most want.
Example questions, not client data.
Where legal answers come from.
Each engine reads a different mix of directories, lists and firm websites. We map it per engine for your practice area and city.
Avvo, Justia, Super Lawyers
AI reads attorney profiles, practice areas and bar details from the legal directories. They need to be complete and consistent with your site. A listing on its own does not decide who gets named.
Best lawyers in your city
Editorial "best estate planning lawyers in your city" pages show up in AI answers. Places on them are earned, never bought or self published.
The practice area, visible
If a practice area sits three clicks deep, AI may not connect it to your firm. Each area you want to be named for belongs on your homepage and on its own page.
Google Business Profile
Google’s AI Overviews and AI Mode lean on the Business Profile for local answers, so your categories and services there should match the work you want.
Yelp
Yelp says its ratings and reviews now power ChatGPT’s local experience in relevant categories. An accurate Yelp page matters, even for firms that never used it.

Client reviews, within the rules
Reviews on Google and legal directories inform the answer. Your state bar’s advertising rules and each platform’s rules decide what is allowed, and we follow both.

What we do for law firms.
Four pieces of work, each judged on the number it can move: answers that name your firm for the practice area you want.
Put the practice area up front.
Each secondary practice area on your homepage and on its own page, with the attorneys, the fee approach and the counties you serve in plain text.
Local and franchiseProfiles for each engine.
Business Profile for Google, Yelp for ChatGPT, Apple Business and Bing Places, plus complete legal directory profiles.
Citation engineeringEarn the city lists.
Places on the best of pages AI cites for your practice area and city, earned and disclosed.
Brand factsFix wrong practice areas.
When AI says you do not handle a case type you do, we trace the source and correct it there.
Measured before and after.
We agree the practice area question and two AI apps with you, and measure them before we start: how many of 10 answers name your firm. After launch we measure the same way again, with the question text stored and run from your city. Priority questions checked daily.
Every engine gets its own row, and a single screenshot never counts as proof.
The usual path for a firm.
You own every page, file and listing we ship.
A measured read of 50 buyer questions on four to six AI apps: who AI names instead of you, the sources behind them, and the fix list. Five working days. Credited in full if you start a program within 30 days.
Start with a baselineThe fixes shipped in 10 working days: pages AI can quote, facts, listings and crawler access. Then tracked for 45 days. You keep everything.

Law firm questions, answered.
Why doesn’t ChatGPT recommend my law firm?
Usually because the sources it reads do not tie your firm to the practice area in question. The area may be buried on your site, missing from your profiles, or absent from the city lists it cites. KailxLabs measures which of those it is before fixing anything.
Why focus on secondary practice areas?
For a firm’s main area, AI answers tend to follow the same signals as Google. For the areas a firm also handles, such as estate planning, workers comp or disability, AI often names different firms. That is where fixing your own site can change the answer.
Do you have data on this?
Our study of secondary practice areas publishes with its data file on the research page. Until then we describe the method, not the numbers.
Will you ask our clients for reviews?
No. We never script review wording or offer incentives, and we follow your state bar’s advertising rules and each platform’s review rules. Yelp forbids asking for reviews at all.
What is the guarantee?
If you are not named on an agreed buyer question, on two agreed AI apps, within 45 days of launch, you get a full refund and keep the work. Named means at least 6 of 10 answers, measured the same way before and after.
