Make the shortlist when AI compares.
KailxLabs gets SaaS products named when buyers ask ChatGPT, Google AI Mode, Gemini and Perplexity which tool to pick. We find the comparisons, reviews and pages each engine reads for your category, earn your place in them and fix what AI gets wrong about your pricing and features. SaaS teams start with a $1,500 baseline, then the Growth program at $3,500 a month.
What software buyers ask AI.
Examples of the questions we measure for a SaaS company. Yours come from sales calls, demos and lost deal notes.
Example questions, not client data.
Where software answers come from.
Engines mostly cite pages you do not own when buyers compare tools. Each engine reads a different mix, so we map it per app.
Best of lists and roundups
Third party lists and "best X for Y" roundups carry much of what AI says about software. Where you sit in the lists an engine already cites matters more than a list you publish about yourself.
G2, Capterra and peers
Review profiles count most on Perplexity and on review style questions in Google AI Overviews, and far less on ChatGPT. They are a floor to keep clean, not a lever on every engine.
Pricing, docs and integrations
Engines read vendor sites directly for pricing, plans and integrations. When pricing is hidden, answers fill the gap from Reddit and third party sites, often in negative terms.
Practitioner threads
Users comparing tools in public threads shape the verdict on "is it worth it" questions. We answer there only through your named team, with disclosure.
Demos and walkthroughs
Honest walkthroughs and comparisons from real users show up in answers about setup and fit, especially on Google’s AI surfaces.
Named people, not only pages
AI answers often cite named practitioners on LinkedIn. Your founders and experts writing under their own names count, alongside a maintained company page.
of AI search volume sits in categories with no clear leader. In 53.7% of 1,094 categories, no brand led even 3 of 5 prompts.

Most categories have no settled leader in ChatGPT answers yet. The brands that fix their sources now set the shortlist others have to break into.
Devtools have a second buyer too. Coding agents read your docs directly, so docs they can use and listings where agents look are part of the work.
What we do for SaaS.
Four pieces of work, each judged on the number it can move: answers that name you, described correctly.
Know where you stand.
Buyer questions taken from sales calls and demos, not keyword tools, asked on every major AI app until the answer settles.

Earned placement and corrections in the comparisons, roundups and review profiles each engine already cites for your category.
Answer ready websitePages AI can quote.
Use case, integration, comparison and pricing pages that stay true and carry a date.
Brand factsFix the old pricing.
Old plans, retired integrations and outdated security claims traced to the page they came from and corrected there.
Worked questions, untouched questions.
Before we start, we split your buyer questions in two. We work on one half and leave the other alone. Priority questions checked daily, with several runs each time, and every app gets its own row with a count and a likely range. Developer APIs are labelled and never mixed into a headline.
A change counts only when the ranges separate. Alongside the runs we read an open text "how did you hear about us" field on your demo form, so the report shows what buyers say as well as what AI says.
The usual path for SaaS.
Programs run month to month after the first 90 days.
A measured read of 50 buyer questions on four to six AI apps: who AI names instead of you, the sources behind them, and the fix list. Five working days. Credited in full if you start a program within 30 days.
Start with a baselineCitation engineering on 50 questions, answer ready pages shipped monthly, brand fact fixes, and monthly proof against the untouched half.

What we never promise
Nobody controls what an AI says. We never promise a fixed spot or a rank.
SaaS questions, answered.
How do we get ChatGPT to recommend our product?
Find the handful of pages ChatGPT reads for your category, then earn a fair place in them and make your own pricing and use case pages easy to quote. KailxLabs starts by measuring which of those pages decide your buyers’ questions today.
What does an AI search agency do for a SaaS company?
It measures what AI says when buyers compare tools in your category, finds the sources behind those answers, earns placement and corrections in them, fixes your own pages and proves the change against questions it left untouched.
How do we prove AI visibility drove pipeline?
Partly. We compare worked and untouched questions per app with ranges, and read an open text "how did you hear about us" field on your demo form. No tool can yet tie AI answers to revenue deterministically, so we report what the evidence supports.
Is llms.txt worth it?
For devtools, yes, because coding agents read docs directly. For Google Search, no: Google says it does not use llms.txt. We treat it, schema and FAQ markup as hygiene, not as levers.
Do you guarantee a spot in AI answers?
No. Nobody controls what an AI says. We never promise a fixed spot or a rank. Serious software buyers read a guaranteed placement as a red flag, so we guarantee the work and the proof instead. The baseline, the fixes and the control report are delivered to our published standard, or your baseline fee comes back.
