LegalService Schema

Also: LegalService Schema.org, law firm structured data, Attorney schema

The canonical pattern is LegalService for the firm and Attorney for each individual lawyer. Each Attorney entity declares jobTitle, jurisdiction (the state bar memberships), and worksFor pointing to the firm @id. Practice areas are declared as Service entities with the Attorney as the named provider where appropriate.

Bar advertising compliance is the standard friction point. Texas Disciplinary Rule 7.04, California Rule 7.1, New York Rule 7.1, and the model rules of professional conduct shape what claims a firm can make on its website. The LegalService schema must reflect only compliant claims. Past results disclaimers, jurisdiction limitations, and the fact that no attorney client relationship is created by website contact are standard inclusions.
