reviewedBy attestation
Also: reviewedBy schema, expert review attestation, medical content review schema
The distinction between author and reviewedBy matters. The author is the originator of the content. The reviewer is the credentialed professional who signs off on medical, legal, or technical accuracy. Both should be declared. Both should appear in the visible page byline.
For a medical clinic site, every page making a clinical claim should declare reviewedBy pointing to the medical director, lead physician, or other appropriate credentialed staff. For a law firm site, every practice area page should declare reviewedBy pointing to the lead attorney for that practice area.
Pages without reviewedBy attestation lose citation share on YMYL queries (medical, legal, financial) against pages that declare it. The fix is a 30 minute schema update per page and a clear written attestation that the named professional reviewed the content.
